  Torquing gudgeon pinch bolts.JPG - Torquing gudgeon pinch bolts. I bought hardened allen head 8x1mm bolts for the gudgeon pinch bolts. Much easier to torque, because there are no wrench interference problems with internal allen heads. 35mm long, I could have gone with 30mm. The part number from Fastenal is M8-1.0x35 SHCS 12.9. We torqued them to 25 ft-lb.
